Mars, Incorporated has officially completed its acquisition of Kellanova, adding some of the world’s most recognizable snacks — including Pringles, Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, RXBAR and Kellogg’s international cereals — to its global portfolio. The deal unites two powerhouse companies with decades of brand heritage, innovation and consumer trust.

With the addition of Kellanova’s brands, Mars now operates across even more competitive snacking categories. Kellanova contributes several billion-dollar icons — Pringles, Cheez-It and Kellogg’s — which now join Mars’ established powerhouses such as:

Regulatory Approvals and Timeline
Mars first announced its agreement to acquire Kellanova on August 14, 2024. Kellanova shareholders approved the deal on November 1, 2024, and the final regulatory approvals were completed as of December 8, 2025, officially sealing the transaction.
